St. William's on Long Point is a not-for-profit, non-denominational, lakeside retreat and cultural center, accessible only by boat on Raquette Lake, New York.  Musical, historical, and environmental programs are held during July and August.  Semi-private and dormitory lodging is available for non-profit and family groups.

St. William’s on Long Point Honored by AARCH

       At their Ninth Annual Awards Luncheon in the Fall of 2004, Adirondack Architectural Heritage (AARCH) presented St. William’s on Long Point with an award recognizing our work in the restoration of the 1890’s church.  In presenting the award AARCH Executive Director Steven Engelhart noted the community support that our restoration efforts have involved and said that it was done “the right way!”  The printed and framed award states “for an architecturally sensitive restoration of the former church.”  Accepting the award was our board member, Brother Ed Falsey, who has been involved with St. William’s from the very beginning of the transfer process from the Franciscans Friars to St. William’s on Long Point, Inc.  We are pleased and honored to receive this recognition from such an active and prestigious organization. The award is on display in the church foyer.
